Figma is seeking a Director of People Partners to lead the People function for the Product, Design & Engineering (PDE) organization. In this role, you'll serve as a strategic People Partner to Figma's CTO and Chief Design Officer, building credibility and trust to influence how they lead, organize, and grow their teams. You'll lead and develop a talented team of People Partners across the PDE organizations, executing core people programs including org design, resource management, performance management, and change management during periods of rapid scaling and reorganization. Key responsibilities include: serving as strategic advisor to executive leaders in PDE; leading a team of People Partners; executing people programs such as org design and resource management; driving core people cycles including performance reviews, calibration, talent reviews, and succession planning; partnering across the People function to execute people strategy; using data and insights to inform decisions and measure impact; and helping shape and scale the People Partner function itself. You'll need significant experience as a People Partner leader in high-growth environments, with a track record of managing teams and partnering directly with executive leaders. Genuine fluency in how technical and design teams operate is essential. Strong business and technical acumen—the ability to build deep product and technical knowledge and understand how the business operates—is required. You should demonstrate the ability to challenge and advise senior leaders, influencing decisions and outcomes. The ideal candidate stays grounded and resilient in fast-moving environments. Figma values curiosity and learning; if you're excited about the role but your experience doesn't perfectly align, you're encouraged to apply.
