Conga is seeking a Director, People Partner to lead HR strategy and support for the Operations and Services teams across a globally dispersed workforce. This is a hybrid role based in Houston, TX, reporting to the VP of Employee Experience.
In this role, you will manage a small team of regional People Partners while providing strategic HR support on performance management, talent assessments, compensation benchmarking, annual compensation planning, and HR operations. You'll partner closely with business leadership to navigate organizational growth, change management, talent development, and performance management initiatives. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of critical business functions and shape workforce strategy.
You bring 7–10 years of HR experience with deep expertise in performance management, career development, talent assessment, and HR operations. You're a confident communicator with a clear point of view, comfortable engaging in substantive debate with peers and senior leaders. You genuinely enjoy building relationships and are known for exceptional customer service orientation—you're interested in understanding your partners' needs and delivering high-impact support.
You have a process improvement mindset, constantly identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions that drive measurable impact. You've successfully led HR teams and lead with both clarity and care, creating momentum, trust, and space for collaboration. You're resourceful, collaborative, and willing to take initiative on innovative people programs.
Experience with Workday is beneficial. A bachelor's or master's degree is highly preferred. The role requires approximately 10% travel (US and international) for in-person strategy meetings.
