Wealth.com is an AI-powered wealth management platform serving financial advisors with estate planning solutions. The company is a revenue-generating, fast-growing startup certified as a Great Place to Work (2024) and a Fast Company Best Workplaces for Innovators finalist.
You will build and lead Wealth.com's People Operations function with an AI-native approach from inception. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you'll own the design and launch of core people systems including onboarding, performance management, compensation and leveling frameworks, and people analytics dashboards that inform leadership decision-making.
Key responsibilities include: scoping people programs like products (identifying needs, shipping MVPs, measuring impact, iterating); building and operating each program through its first full cycle to understand real-world failure modes; creating comprehensive runbooks and documentation to enable handoff to the People Operations & Employee Relations Director; designing dashboards and data analysis showing which employees are thriving, at risk, or where the company is understaffed; building an onboarding experience that drives productivity and confidence by week two; establishing a live, trusted performance and calibration cycle; developing compensation bands and job family matrices aligned with company strategy; and ensuring operational work runs with minimal manual intervention.
You'll set the standard for how the people function leverages AI, integrating automation and internal tools throughout your work. Success means shipping at least one fully-operationalized program that runs independently, with most operational work self-sustaining.
The role is hybrid in New York City (3 days/week on-site), with additional office locations in Tempe and San Francisco available.
