Xero is seeking a Director of Workplace Experience to lead regional workplace strategy across the UK and EMEA. You will own the human-centred physical environments and operational structures supporting Xero's growing workforce across multiple markets.
In this role, you will lead a high-performing regional team working closely with UK and South Africa Senior Leadership Teams, as well as global property and people functions. Your team will focus on creating vibrant, efficient, and safe office environments across diverse geographies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading major capital projects end-to-end, including office fit-outs, relocations, and workplace transformations across UK and EMEA regions
- Designing and embedding custom AI workflows and automations to increase operational efficiency across the regional function
- Managing vendor contracts, property leases, and regional budgets with strong commercial rigour
- Guiding regional workplace integration for new business acquisitions while maintaining full health, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on workplace strategy and real estate decisions
You will work in a hybrid model based out of UK office locations, spending time collaborating with stakeholders, guiding your team, and visiting sites during major projects, with flexible remote work options.
Required experience includes leading regional workplace operations or facilities management across multiple international sites, delivering complex office projects from brief through completion, building trusted partnerships with executives, practical familiarity with custom AI tools and automated workflows, strong commercial acumen in budget and vendor management, and knowledge of local health and safety regulations and human-centred design principles.
