Preply is a unicorn edtech platform (Series D, $150M) that connects 100,000+ tutors teaching 90+ languages to learners across 180 countries. The company is scaling globally and preparing for its next growth chapter.
You will join the CEO Office team, reporting directly to the Chief of Staff / VP of Corporate Strategy. This is a strategic leadership role at the heart of the executive function, responsible for translating company strategy into disciplined execution.
Key responsibilities:
**Operating Rhythm & Governance**: Own the company's operating rhythm, including the annual leadership calendar, executive meeting agendas, OKR planning cycles, quarterly business reviews, and board communication cycles. Ensure alignment across all departments and drive accountability against company priorities. Partner with the CEO and executive team to track progress and evolve how the organization meets and makes decisions.
**Strategic Initiatives**: Drive high-impact transformation projects such as evolving the value proposition with new AI tools, refining the business model, improving hiring at scale, and assessing new market segments, product offerings, and M&A/partnership opportunities. Conduct data-driven analysis to identify improvement areas and recommend growth initiatives.
**Executive Partnership**: Serve as a trusted thought leader and strategic partner to the executive team, communicating with clarity and influencing across senior audiences. Manage complex planning processes, prepare executive offsites, and support long-range planning that links strategic initiatives to financial outcomes.
Required qualifications: 7+ years in strategy, operations, or planning in high-growth tech; proven line management experience; track record running operating rhythms (OKRs, business reviews, transformation programs); strong organizational and leadership presence; exceptional attention to detail; excellent communication and storytelling skills; comfort with ambiguity; business modeling or financial acumen; analytics experience a plus. Based in Barcelona or London (London preferred).
