NODA AI is a veteran-owned, venture-backed technology company developing next-generation autonomous orchestration solutions for unmanned systems across air, sea, land, and space. The company serves defense, intelligence, and commercial sectors with mission-critical capabilities.
As Director of Strategy & Market Development, you will lead NODA's market strategy and long-term positioning within Taiwan's defense and national security ecosystem. This is a senior individual contributor role requiring deep expertise in Taiwan's defense priorities, acquisition environment, operational requirements, geopolitical dynamics, and stakeholder landscape.
Key responsibilities include developing and refining NODA's Taiwan market strategy based on defense priorities, operational requirements, acquisition trends, budgets, and policy developments. You will build and maintain trusted relationships across Taiwan's government and defense community, identify where NODA's autonomous orchestration technology addresses emerging operational needs, and help position the company ahead of future requirements.
You will serve as a key source of in-market insight for NODA's leadership, partnering with the Growth organization to understand market direction and inform investment decisions. The role requires connecting NODA across the broader U.S./Taiwan defense ecosystem, ensuring regional strategy reflects Taiwan's operational priorities alongside U.S. defense policy, security cooperation, funding, and acquisition mechanisms.
Responsibilities include developing comprehensive stakeholder maps across ministries, military services, acquisition organizations, research institutions, and U.S. government entities; identifying emerging mission needs and capability gaps; maintaining operationally informed understanding of Taiwan's requirements and workflows; monitoring Taiwan's evolving security environment and defense strategy; providing timely market intelligence and strategic assessments; conducting competitive and market analysis; engaging stakeholders early in requirements development; understanding acquisition and security cooperation pathways including FMS and DCS; identifying strategic pathways for technology adoption and scaled deployment; and developing engagement plans to strengthen NODA's credibility and positioning.
The role requires U.S. citizenship with ability and willingness to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance (sponsorship available). Travel is approximately 35%.
