Perry Weather is a rapidly scaling weather safety platform serving 3,000+ organizations including the PGA, NFL, MLB, Turner Construction, school districts, and municipalities. The company combines on-site weather hardware with software that automates alerts, siren activations, and safety decisions. Growing 80%+ annually, Perry Weather is headquartered in Dallas. As Director of Product Marketing, you'll lead the product marketing function and own how Perry Weather's value is communicated across markets. You'll develop positioning that connects the full platform (software, hardware, alerts, data) to buyer needs across core and emerging verticals. You'll lead go-to-market strategy for new products and market expansion, turning customer and market insights into messaging, sales tools, and launch programs that drive measurable business outcomes. Key responsibilities include: developing and evolving positioning as the company expands into new markets and larger accounts; owning the messaging hierarchy across website, product pages, and launch materials; setting go-to-market strategy for major product launches with clear audience definition and success metrics; aligning Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success around launch priorities; conducting regular customer interviews, win/loss analysis, and competitive research; partnering with Sales leadership to improve deal execution with multiple stakeholders; developing sales enablement tools including pitch narratives, competitive guidance, and value frameworks; and building the product marketing function with clear priorities, repeatable processes, and appropriate staffing as the company scales. Success is measured by clear, differentiated positioning that buyers understand and teams use consistently; launches that generate qualified demand and drive adoption; stronger sales execution across verticals and larger accounts; customer and competitive insights that influence product decisions; measurable improvements in launch performance and conversion; and a scalable product marketing function with repeatable processes.
