You will lead Aidoc's Product Design function as Director of Product Design in a player-coach leadership role. You'll manage a team of three senior Product Designers while remaining deeply involved in high-impact design work. Your core responsibilities include defining and driving the company's Product Design vision, principles, and strategy; developing a deep understanding of clinical workflows and translating complex challenges into intuitive product experiences; building a research-driven design culture; shaping AI-native experiences that integrate naturally into clinicians' daily work; and partnering with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Executive leadership to influence product strategy.
You'll establish best practices for UX research, usability testing, design systems, and continuous product validation. You'll raise the bar for craft, consistency, and product experience across the organization, with a focus on creating products that clinicians trust, adopt, and love to use.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years of Product Design experience (ideally in complex B2B, enterprise, or SaaS products) and 3+ years managing Product Designers, including coaching senior-level designers. You bring strong hands-on expertise across discovery, UX, interaction design, prototyping, and product delivery. You have a proven track record of owning complex product experiences, deep experience with user research and usability testing, and experience building or evolving design systems. Healthcare, clinical workflow, or regulated-domain experience is a strong advantage. You think in systems and workflows, challenge assumptions through research and data, care deeply about craft and quality, and can inspire experienced designers while working comfortably with ambiguity.
