Niural is an AI-native global PEO (Professional Employer Organization) platform that delivers enterprise-grade payroll, benefits, and compliance for growing companies without the enterprise overhead. The platform integrates payroll, PEO/ASO, global EOR, benefits, and vendor payments into a single intelligent system, powered by EMMA—an AI coworker that executes payroll and compliance across 150+ countries with near-perfect accuracy. The company is backed by a $52M Series A and generates $200M+ in annualized gross revenue.
As Director of Product, you will own the end-to-end product experience in a player-coach role reporting directly to the CEO. You will set product strategy alongside founders, lead and grow a unified team of PMs and designers, and remain hands-on in prototyping, critiquing, and shipping.
Key responsibilities include: owning the product vision and roadmap across payroll, PEO/EOR, benefits, and payments as a cohesive experience; setting the taste bar for the company across every screen, interaction, and word; defining the interaction model for agentic software—how users delegate work to EMMA and experience the product as magical rather than opaque; using AI-native building as your default workflow with rapid prototyping and testing cycles; leading, hiring, and developing a unified product and design team where PMs have design sensibility and designers think in product outcomes; running tight discovery loops with customers from founder-led startups to enterprise HR and finance leaders; partnering closely with engineering on prioritization and quality; owning both delight and correctness, including edge cases in tax, compliance, and money movement; and contributing to the company narrative through fundraising, sales, and market positioning.
You bring 5+ years of product management experience with 2+ years leading teams, with a track record of shipping complex B2B or fintech products at scale. You have true dual fluency in product and design—able to pressure-test a PRD and give substantive design critique in the same meeting. Your portfolio demonstrates taste and craft, even in unglamorous domains. You build with AI daily, have shipped or prototyped with modern AI tools, and believe AI leverage raises the standard for craft. You have strong opinions about what makes agentic and LLM-powered products feel trustworthy and magical rather than gimmicky. Experience in payroll, HR tech, fintech, payments, or other regulated, correctness-critical domains is a strong plus. You operate comfortably with ambiguity, own outcomes, and communicate crisply with founders, customers, and investors. You have a track record of hiring people with taste and helping them improve.
Nice-to-have qualifications include founding design or product experience at an earlier-stage company, global product experience with localization and multi-country compliance, and dual-audience experience serving both enterprise and SMB customers.
