LettrLabs is a direct mail automation platform combining software, robotics, and proprietary data to produce handwritten and printed mail at scale. The company is growing rapidly and expanding beyond home services into new industries.
You will join as Director of Product, reporting directly to the CEO. You will manage a team of three: two Senior Product Managers (one focused on client-facing platform and front-end experience, one on integrations, data, and attribution) and a UX Designer. This is a player-coach role—you own the software platform roadmap and have real influence on company strategy, but will also write specs, run discovery, and get into details yourself as the team scales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the software platform roadmap: sequence bets, define success metrics, and make tradeoff calls
- Partner deeply with the CEO on product strategy, bringing data-driven recommendations grounded in customer insight
- Lead and grow the two PMs and UX designer, holding them accountable for outcomes and project management in their domains
- Coordinate across front-end, integrations, and data teams, resolving priority and capacity tradeoffs with the CTO
- Build a product process that keeps pace with an engineering team shipping 15x faster using AI, while maintaining quality on a predictable cadence
- Stay close to enterprise customers and translate Sales and Customer Success feedback into roadmap decisions
- Own product metrics (adoption, retention, attribution, revenue impact) and drive measurable improvement
- Partner with GTM teams on launches and lead product planning as the company expands into new industries
LettrLabs is AI-native; the software team leverages AI heavily and has increased velocity 15x in the past year. You will need to match that pace and use AI aggressively in your own product work.
This is an in-office role based in Marina del Rey, Los Angeles.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of product management in enterprise B2B SaaS, including 2+ years managing PMs
- Track record of owning a roadmap at a fast-growing company with quantifiable shipped outcomes
- Experience building enterprise functionality (roles and permissions, multi-account hierarchies, admin controls, reporting)
- Strategic judgment connecting product bets to revenue and retention; ability to defend tradeoffs
- Mastery of product fundamentals (discovery, specs, prioritization, agile delivery) and ability to teach them
- Technical depth across systems, APIs, data, and integrations sufficient to challenge estimates and scope realistically
- History of building operating rhythm and accountability without adding bureaucracy
- Experience working closely with a founder CEO deeply involved in product; ability to bring strong recommendations, welcome review, and know when to push back
- Deep, daily fluency with AI in your own product work
- Evidence of having overhauled a product process with AI, with measurable gains in speed or quality
- Clear, concise executive communication
NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Experience in MarTech and attribution products (CRM, marketing automation platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier)
- Experience leading product through expansion into new industries or customer segments
- Experience with products combining software with physical operations or proprietary data
- Experience building AI harnesses (agents, evaluation frameworks, internal AI tooling)
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code and Claude Design
