As Director of People Operations, you will report to the VP of Strategic Initiatives and own the People function during a critical growth phase. Your responsibilities include:
• Developing and executing Pickle's People strategy aligned with business scaling goals
• Building HR systems, programs, and processes that support rapid organizational growth
• Partnering with executive leadership on talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies
• Shaping company culture and ensuring it scales with the organization
• Managing the People team and infrastructure to support hiring and employee lifecycle needs
• Implementing talent development programs for technical and non-technical teams
• Establishing compensation, benefits, and employee engagement frameworks
You will work directly with founders and executives to translate business strategy into people initiatives. This role requires someone who has previously scaled a People function at a growth-stage company—not just managed one. You should be equally comfortable in strategic planning sessions with leadership and in the operational details of building systems from scratch. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments and can balance long-term organizational design with near-term execution needs.
