Salary: USD 170,000 - 190,000 / annual

As Director of Operations reporting to the COO, you will lead and continuously improve Campus's critical operational functions, with initial focus on Financial Aid and student financial experience processes. This is a strategic role focused on optimization and scaling, not maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with Financial Aid leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to improve and scale student-facing operations
- Serve as strategic advisor to the COO on operational risks, opportunities, and resource planning
- Support critical processes including aid applications, disbursements, billing, refunds, and payment plans with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks, implementing scalable processes that increase efficiency and team effectiveness
- Create and maintain SOPs ensuring alignment across Admissions, Registrar, Student Success, Financial Aid, Product, and Engineering teams
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to design and implement technology-enabled operational improvements
- Establish performance metrics and dashboards to monitor progress and drive continuous improvement
- Expand into additional operational areas as Campus scales
You bring 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, including managing teams through periods of growth and organizational change. You excel at problem-solving, have strong people management and coaching skills, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Experience partnering with Product and Engineering on technology-enabled improvements is essential. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
