Oura is seeking a Director of Operational Accounting to lead the company's end-to-end transactional accounting functions. This executive role oversees Accounts Payable (AP) Operations, Time & Expense (T&E), Payroll Operations, and Order-to-Cash (O2C) operations across a rapidly growing healthtech company.
Key responsibilities include building and managing a high-performing accounting operations team, driving global automation initiatives, and establishing robust internal controls. You will own the complete P2P (Procure-to-Pay) strategy, including invoice processing, vendor onboarding, compliance, and spend management across platforms like Coupa, Ramp, and NetSuite. You'll partner with Procurement and Supply Chain leadership to optimize working capital, negotiate vendor terms, and ensure accurate cash forecasting.
In Payroll Operations, you will oversee accurate, compliant execution of multi-state US and international payroll, statutory tax reporting, and regulatory compliance. This includes managing payroll technology platforms (Workday Payroll, ADP) and ensuring seamless integration with HR systems for stock-based compensation, benefits, and bonus structures.
For Order-to-Cash operations, you will lead the AR and Billing team managing complex, high-volume transactions across D2C e-commerce, subscription memberships, B2B enterprise sales, and retail channels. You'll own metrics including Unbilled Receivables, AR Aging, customer deposits, and credit policies. You'll also oversee payment gateway settlements (Stripe, Adyen) and retail remittances (Best Buy, Target, Amazon).
This role requires cross-functional leadership, partnering with Revenue Accounting, RevOps, Commercial Finance, and broader Finance leadership to ensure operational soundness, alignment with revenue recognition policies, and efficient month-end closes. You'll drive system roadmaps, vendor management, and audit readiness across all operational accounting functions.
