Checkmarx is seeking a strategic Director of Marketing to lead regional field marketing across Europe. Reporting to the VP of Global Growth Marketing, you will manage a team of Regional Marketing Managers and own the regional go-to-market execution for new business, expansion, and partner-driven initiatives.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing integrated regional marketing plans aligned to corporate revenue targets, translating global product launches and campaigns into localized field execution, and building territory-specific marketing plans supporting enterprise and commercial sales teams. You will drive marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline through field events, executive programs, digital campaigns, webinars, and customer marketing initiatives, optimizing program performance based on pipeline contribution, conversion velocity, and ROI.
You will serve as the primary marketing partner for the Regional Vice President of Sales, participating in business reviews, forecast discussions, and account planning sessions. You'll develop regional partner marketing plans with strategic alliances and channel partners, executing MDF-funded campaigns and co-marketing initiatives while measuring partner pipeline contribution and ROI.
Event leadership is critical: you will plan and execute regional events, industry conferences, executive dinners, roadshows, and customer advisory programs to maximize pipeline generation and engagement. Cross-functional collaboration with Sales Leadership, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Brand & Communications, Customer Marketing, Marketing Operations, Business Development, and Channel & Alliances ensures coordinated execution across the buyer journey.
You will own regional marketing performance metrics including marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline, opportunity creation, pipeline velocity, campaign ROI, event performance, partner pipeline contribution, and marketing attribution. Regular executive reporting with actionable insights and optimization recommendations is expected.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational excellence and has a proven track record delivering measurable pipeline in enterprise B2B technology or cybersecurity organizations.
