Quandri is building an AI operating system for North America's insurance agencies and brokerages, transforming how insurance operates through deeply specific, vertically-focused AI. The company is backed by leading US and Canadian investors and has been recognized as one of LinkedIn's Top Canadian Startups (2024 & 2025), included in Deloitte's Fast 50, CB Insights' Insurtech 50 and Fintech 100, and The Globe and Mail's Top Growing Companies in Canada.
As Director of Field Marketing reporting to the CMO, you will establish the strategy, operating rhythms, and measurement needed to generate demand for Quandri's software in priority regions. You'll work closely with regional Sales teams to understand their markets, target accounts, and pipeline goals, translating those priorities into a focused mix of hosted events, sponsored conferences, executive dinners, meetups, and local digital programs. This is a hands-on role where you'll set direction and personally deliver programs while building the team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building the field marketing plan for Quandri's first defined regions, deciding where to invest and developing repeatable, scalable programs
- Managing field events from start to finish, including venues, vendors, staffing, materials, and execution
- Coordinating with Sales on target accounts, meeting goals, and pipeline advancement; planning pre-event outreach, securing commitments during events, and ensuring timely follow-up in HubSpot
- Setting and reporting on goals for meetings, qualified opportunities, and sourced/influenced pipeline; refining the plan based on results
- Owning the field marketing budget and assessing programs against cost and pipeline contribution
- Hiring, coaching, and leading region-specific field marketers as the function expands
The role involves significant travel (approximately 40% initially, decreasing to 20% once regional marketers are staffed) for events and customer engagements.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of field marketing or regionally focused marketing experience in a SaaS company
- Proven experience building field marketing programs from scratch and creating repeatable processes
- Experience supporting multiple regions or distributed Sales teams and adapting programs to local needs
- Track record of delivering field programs that generate demand and measurable sales opportunities
- Experience owning event or field marketing budgets and making investment decisions based on results
- Experience hiring, coaching, or managing marketers as a team grows
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple programs, events, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Collaborative, hands-on approach; willingness to execute programs personally as well as set strategy
- Familiarity with HubSpot for tracking, measuring, and reporting on field and event activity
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 40% for events and customer engagements while the regional team is being built
