Yoodli is an AI-powered roleplay simulator that helps individuals and teams master communication skills. The company has raised $40M in Series B funding and is headquartered in Seattle. This is the first Director of Customer Education role, reporting directly to the co-founder and Chief Customer Officer.
You will define and build Yoodli's global customer and partner education strategy, sitting at the intersection of customer experience, enablement, and revenue outcomes. Working across Customer Success, Support, Product, Sales, and Marketing, you'll create education programs that accelerate adoption, improve customer outcomes, support expansion, and help enterprise customers operationalize Yoodli at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain the core education library: onboarding pathways, self-paced modules, video walkthroughs, guides, templates, product academies, and live workshops
- Own customer and partner education for every product launch, ensuring internal teams (CS, Support, Sales) are fluent before customers see anything
- Develop program-admin tracks and certification paths that teach customers how to launch and run Yoodli programs inside their organizations
- Segment strategically: determine which launches and accounts receive white-glove treatment versus scaled programs
- Measure impact through adoption metrics, time-to-value, and support deflection; iterate based on data
- Grow the function as it proves value, making the case for headcount and hiring as needed
You'll start hands-on, personally building content, designing assessments, leading webinars, and shipping certification programs. The role requires deep cross-functional influence and the ability to drive work through teams you don't manage. You should have 5-8+ years in customer education, enablement, instructional design, or customer success at B2B SaaS companies, with experience building at least one function from scratch. You're comfortable with data analysis, defining new metrics, and reporting to executives. An AI-first mindset is essential—you'll leverage AI to scale content creation and tooling while maintaining human-led elements where they matter most. Experience educating enterprise program owners who roll out to hundreds or thousands of users is valuable.
