Perry Weather is seeking a Director of Content Marketing to lead content strategy and establish the company as the authoritative voice in weather safety. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on content creation, requiring the director to own the full content function across strategy, editorial direction, distribution, and performance measurement. Key responsibilities include developing Perry Weather's content strategy across core verticals (heat stress prevention, lightning safety, operational safety), defining editorial perspective and signature content programs, and building the team and processes to scale content operations. The director will personally shape flagship content including original research, customer case studies, thought leadership, and sales enablement materials, partnering with the Science team to translate technical research into credible narratives. The role requires ownership of organic search strategy and audience growth, grounding decisions in customer insights and keyword data. The director will develop distribution strategies that reach buyers through industry channels, partnerships, and sales conversations, testing formats and channels to optimize reach and impact. Performance accountability is central: the director must define content goals, measurement approaches, and reporting cadence, tracking content-sourced and content-influenced pipeline alongside audience growth and conversion metrics. Success is measured by content becoming a consistent contributor to qualified pipeline, Perry Weather earning recognition as an authoritative voice in weather safety, original research generating inbound interest, and a growing library of customer stories demonstrating quantifiable ROI. Perry Weather operates in weather safety technology, serving 3,000+ organizations including the PGA, NFL, MLB, Turner Construction, school districts, and golf courses.
