Typeform is a form builder and survey platform serving over 150,000 businesses, processing 500 million responses annually. The company is scaling its global SaaS operations and investing in stronger financial controls and accounting infrastructure.
You will join the Accounting & Controlling team as Director, reporting to the VP of Accounting & Controlling. This is a leadership role combining strategic partnership with hands-on operational execution. You'll oversee the integrity of global accounting operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions, manage and develop a growing accounting team, and drive initiatives that strengthen financial controls and support international expansion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with high-quality financial reporting and balance sheet integrity
- Managing a high-performing accounting team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Strengthening internal controls and ensuring IFRS and regulatory compliance across all operating jurisdictions
- Overseeing revenue recognition policies for subscription and usage-based business models
- Leading indirect tax strategy and compliance (VAT/GST, digital services taxes)
- Managing transfer pricing frameworks, intercompany accounting, and cross-border financial operations
- Partnering with Legal, FP&A, People, and external advisors on international expansion and entity creation
- Leading external audits and statutory reporting processes
- Driving finance transformation initiatives including process redesign, automation, and ERP optimization
- Building internal accounting capabilities while reducing external advisor dependency
- Acting as strategic deputy to the VP, helping define priorities and shape the finance roadmap
