Anduril Industries is seeking a Director, Mission Insights, Maritime to lead the operational strategy and execution of the company's international maritime business within the Global Defense team. This role sits within Global Defense Mission Operations and serves as the bridge between allied partner navies and Anduril's engineering and product teams, with an initial focus on Japan.
You will define and develop authoritative reference missions, operational vignettes, tactics, techniques, and procedures, and concepts of employment tailored to partner-nation maritime forces across critical theaters such as the Indo-Pacific, Baltic region, and Strait of Hormuz. You will act as the direct conduit between allied maritime operators and Anduril's engineering and product teams, ensuring real-world operational constraints—including degraded RF/bandwidth environments, sea-state realities, and sovereign sensor networks—are integrated into product design and R&D pipelines.
Key responsibilities include supporting operational analysis and red-teaming efforts to evaluate how Anduril hardware and software perform in allied scenarios versus competitor or legacy architectures. You will enable global growth and capture by providing regional Business Development leads with high-impact sales enablement tools, including localized wargaming outcomes, cost-exchange analyses, and mission architectures that articulate mission viability to foreign defense leaders.
You will define mission frameworks necessary for allied sovereign maritime systems to interoperate seamlessly with US JADC2 networks, FVEY, and NATO tactical standards. You will identify genuine capability gaps in allied naval forces to pitch, shape, and seed requirements for international co-development projects or net-new Anduril US production lines. Finally, you will serve as a polished, credible operational lead in front of international military leaders, ministries of defense, and cross-functional internal stakeholders during capture shaping and proposal stages.
This role requires up to 25% travel, both domestically and internationally, and requires an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
