Salary: USD 168,300 - 270,250 / annual
Commvault (NASDAQ: CVLT) is seeking a Director of Corporate Strategy to shape the company's long-term strategic direction in the cyber resilience market and accelerate growth through data-driven insights and cross-functional execution. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this leader will partner closely with the executive team to identify growth opportunities, guide investment decisions, and translate strategy into actionable long-range operating plans.
Key responsibilities include developing and refining multi-year corporate strategy in partnership with executive leadership; identifying market trends, competitive threats, and emerging opportunities; conducting financial analysis and market research to support strategic recommendations; creating executive-level presentations and Board materials; driving strategic initiatives across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering; establishing governance frameworks and KPIs to monitor progress; and synthesizing complex information to facilitate executive decision-making.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic finance, or corporate development. A background in top-tier management consulting is valued but not required. Experience working in or consulting for publicly traded companies, particularly in enterprise software, SaaS, or data security/cyber resilience, is preferred. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (MBA from a leading business school preferred); strong financial modeling and long-range strategic planning skills; exceptional executive communication and presentation abilities; demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across complex organizations; experience presenting to executive leadership and/or Boards of Directors; and strong analytical skills for interpreting complex business and market data.
