Gorgias is building an AI-powered conversational commerce platform that unifies customer interactions across email, chat, voice, SMS, and social for ecommerce brands. With 17,000+ merchants and brands like Glossier and Decathlon using the platform, the company is scaling toward $100M ARR. As Director of Content Marketing, you'll report to the VP of Marketing and own the complete content marketing function: brand, thought leadership, social, community, and customer-led content. This is a hands-on role today with a growing team. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and executing content marketing strategy across all channels (brand, thought leadership, social, community, customer stories) - Building AI-powered workflows using Claude Code and Cortex (internal AI layer) to accelerate content production while maintaining quality and brand voice - Driving visibility where buyers research: social media, communities, search rankings (SEO), and AI search results (AEO) - Creating persona-specific content for enterprise buyers navigating complex, longer sales cycles as Gorgias moves upmarket - Leveraging customer insights from Cortex, Gong calls, and research to identify and execute content programs - Partnering with demand generation, product marketing, and leadership to align content with company narrative - Hiring and managing a social media/community team member as the function scales You'll need 5-7+ years in content marketing (ideally SaaS or ecommerce), a proven track record building content programs with measurable funnel impact, and strong instincts for brand voice, thought leadership, and enterprise buyer psychology. You should have hands-on experience with AI tools, solid SEO and AEO fundamentals, and the ability to spot opportunities and execute independently. Bonus experience includes Shopify/ecommerce ecosystem knowledge and experience repositioning brands upmarket.
