Salary: GBP 118,300 - 136,500 / annual
Recursion Pharmaceuticals seeks a Director of Clinical Pharmacology to lead clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics strategy for a portfolio of rare disease and oncology programs. You will develop clinical pharmacology strategies to accelerate product development, design clinical studies from Phase 1-3, author regulatory submissions (IBs, INDs, NDAs), and serve as the clinical pharmacology expert in regulatory interactions. You'll interface with cross-functional teams including clinical development, translational modeling, preclinical, and biostatistics to ensure pharmacology considerations are integrated throughout drug development. The role involves overseeing modeling and simulation work to support dose selection, exposure-response, and exposure-safety analyses.
You'll join the Development Sciences team within Clinical Development, which comprises clinical pharmacology, pharmacometrics, translational modeling, and clinical biomarkers. This team works seamlessly across discovery and development projects, collaborating with DMPK, biology, chemistry, and translational biomarkers functions.
Required qualifications: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacokinetics, or related discipline; M.D. with Clinical Pharmacology expertise; or Pharm.D. with Clinical Pharmacology fellowship. 5-9+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical drug development experience. Demonstrated success leading clinical pharmacology aspects of drug development. Proficiency with WinNonlin, Monolix, NONMEM, R, or similar modeling software. Strong stakeholder management, regulatory experience, and ability to drive collaboration across internal and external partners. Experience in oncology is preferred but not required.
