Salary: USD 212,900 - 287,980 / annual

Recursion Pharmaceuticals seeks a Director of Clinical Pharmacology to lead clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics strategy across a portfolio of rare disease and oncology programs. You will own the clinical pharmacology strategy and execution, serving as the lead for various programs in clinical development and as the regulatory representative for health authority interactions. Key responsibilities include: developing clinical pharmacology and pharmacometric strategies to accelerate product development; designing clinical studies from Phase 1–3 and dedicated Phase 1 clinical pharmacology studies; authoring clinical pharmacology sections for regulatory documents (IBs, INDs, NDAs); interfacing with cross-functional teams (clinical, translational, preclinical, due diligence); and overseeing modeling and simulation to support drug development decisions. You will join the Development Sciences team within Clinical Development, which comprises clinical pharmacology, pharmacometrics, translational modeling, and clinical biomarkers. The team collaborates seamlessly across discovery and development functions, including DMPK, biology, chemistry, clinical science, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and biostatistics. Required qualifications: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacokinetics, or related discipline; M.D. with Clinical Pharmacology expertise; or Pharm.D. with Clinical Pharmacology fellowship. 5–9+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical drug development experience. Demonstrated success leading all clinical pharmacology aspects of drug development. Ability to manage PK, PK-PD, and PK-safety analyses, including non-compartmental analysis, population PK modeling, and PK-PD modeling/simulations. Proficiency with WinNonlin, Monolix, NONMEM, R, or similar modeling software. Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and regulatory submission experience. Oncology experience preferred but not required. The role is based in Salt Lake City or New York, with remote work considered for candidates willing to commit to regular on-site visits.
