Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, and sensor fusion, is seeking a Director of Capital Markets to design and execute debt and structured financing solutions. This outward-facing, execution-focused role sits within the Investor Relations & Capital Markets team and reports to senior finance leadership.
You will translate Anduril's operational and financial needs—spanning manufacturing, hardware deployment, and infrastructure—into well-structured, executable financing transactions across corporate and asset-backed contexts. You will own end-to-end debt transaction execution, from initial structuring through diligence, negotiation, and closing. This includes credit facilities, term loans, structured debt, and hybrid financing approaches tailored to Anduril's unique operating model.
Key responsibilities include: leading debt transaction execution across multiple structures; developing financing solutions for capital-intensive, non-standard environments; managing relationships with banks, direct lenders, and private credit funds; aligning financing strategy with Treasury and Finance on liquidity and capital allocation; negotiating and closing complex transactions in partnership with Legal and Finance leadership; and proactively building financing capacity to ensure the company can move quickly.
Required qualifications: 6–10+ years in leveraged finance, debt capital markets, private credit, or structured finance; significant hands-on experience executing debt transactions end-to-end; strong credit analysis and capital structure expertise; direct experience with banks, direct lenders, and private credit funds; ability to independently drive complex external processes under tight timelines; advanced financial modeling with focus on credit and downside analysis; U.S. Person status (required for access to export-controlled information).
Preferred: experience in structured or asset-backed financing (equipment finance, receivables, project-based debt); background in capital-intensive or operationally complex industries (aerospace, defense, manufacturing, infrastructure); familiarity with government contracting environments.
