OpenLoop is a telehealth platform that enables companies to deliver virtual care across all 50 states. The Director of Applications & Business Systems will own the vision, delivery, and continuous improvement of OpenLoop's enterprise software stack, leading a high-performing team responsible for implementing, integrating, and optimizing mission-critical applications including ERP, CRM, HRIS, finance, collaboration, and proprietary platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain a 3-year enterprise applications roadmap aligned with company goals and digital transformation priorities
- Translate business strategies into scalable technical initiatives with measurable KPIs and clear project portfolios
- Recruit, coach, and lead a team of analysts, developers, and systems administrators
- Own the full lifecycle of enterprise applications (GSuite, Zoho, NetSuite, Slack, Okta, Healthie, Doxy, etc.)—from selection and deployment through integration and retirement
- Lead cross-platform initiatives focused on data quality, governance, and master data management
- Drive automation and process improvements using APIs, low-code tools, and emerging technologies to eliminate manual work
- Manage third-party vendors: negotiate contracts, monitor SLAs, control licensing costs, and oversee renewals
- Oversee application provisioning, deprovisioning, and access management for secure employee experience
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to enhance and integrate internally developed tools; establish release, QA, and UAT processes
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, and other regulatory frameworks
- Implement role-based access controls, audit trails, and incident-response procedures
- Track system uptime, usage, and ROI; deliver executive-level dashboards and insights
- Measure end-user satisfaction and lead continuous improvement efforts
- Manage the applications budget, including licenses, tools, and services

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years leading enterprise applications or business-systems functions, including 3+ years in a people-management role
- Demonstrated success implementing and integrating cloud-based SaaS platforms (GSuite, Zoho, NetSuite, Slack, Okta, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of systems integration, data governance, and the full software-development lifecycle
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, license optimization, and third-party risk management
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional influencing skills
- Experience spearheading large-scale change-management or digital-transformation programs
- Hands-on familiarity with modern data architectures, APIs, and automation frameworks
