Moody's Analytics is seeking a Director, Senior Strategist to lead strategic initiatives within the Insurance business unit. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, responsible for identifying and assessing future growth opportunities across insurance customer segments and workflows. Key responsibilities include analyzing market demand, competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging technologies impacting insurance customers. You will identify and assess growth opportunities across customer sub-segments and workflows, developing comprehensive business cases with addressable market estimations, target customer segmentation, ARR projections, and financial viability assessments. The role requires translating strategic vision into execution scenarios across identified growth levers, lines of business, and markets. You will actively participate in evaluating strategic partnerships and investment opportunities, including M&A evaluation. Strong collaboration with product, go-to-market, sales, and marketing teams is essential to align initiatives and support commercial execution. You will maintain deep understanding of Moody's solutions and their value propositions, contribute to sales and marketing materials, and develop thought leadership content. The position requires extensive experience in strategy, product, marketing, or market research within insurance, particularly Property and Casualty. You should demonstrate strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate has demonstrated proficiency in AI concepts with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. You should be comfortable working in agile, fast-paced environments while managing multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously. An undergraduate degree in a business-related field is required; an MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.
