Scalable Capital, a leading European fintech platform with over 1 million clients and €50 billion in assets under management, is seeking a Digital Product Designer to join their Munich office.
You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to own design work from problem framing through delivery and iteration. Your responsibilities include using qualitative and quantitative insights to understand customer needs, testing assumptions, and improving both customer and business outcomes. You'll create simple, accessible, and engaging experiences—including polished UI, flows, prototypes, and meaningful interaction details—while evolving the design system to ensure coherent experiences across products and platforms.
During implementation, you'll collaborate with engineers by providing clear specifications and design guidance, reviewing final experiences against quality standards. You'll use AI responsibly throughout the design process, knowing when and how it adds value. You'll also manage your work effectively, communicate progress, and coordinate priorities and timelines with stakeholders.
Required qualifications include a strong portfolio demonstrating visual craft, product thinking, collaboration, and measurable outcomes. You need practical experience designing for native mobile platforms and responsive web, with deep understanding of platform conventions and technical constraints. Discovery, user research, and usability testing experience is essential, along with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear design directions.
Excellent Figma skills are required, including components, variables, interactive prototyping, and design-system workflows. Experience with motion or micro-interaction studies is a plus. Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus. Experience in fintech, regulated products, or trust-sensitive domains is highly valued.
