Scalable Capital, a leading European fintech platform with over €50 billion in assets under management and 1M+ clients, is seeking a Digital Product Designer to join their Berlin office.
You will own design work end-to-end—from problem framing through delivery and iteration—working closely with Product and Engineering teams. Your responsibilities include:
• Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to understand customer needs, test assumptions, and drive measurable improvements in customer and business outcomes
• Designing simple, accessible, and engaging experiences across mobile and web platforms, including polished UI, flows, interactive prototypes, and thoughtful interaction details
• Evolving and maintaining the design system to ensure coherent experiences across products and platforms
• Collaborating with engineers during implementation, providing clear specifications and design guidance, and reviewing final work against quality standards
• Leveraging AI responsibly in the design process, knowing when and how it adds value
• Managing your workload effectively, communicating progress, and coordinating priorities with stakeholders
You bring a strong portfolio demonstrating visual craft, product thinking, and collaboration. You have practical experience designing for native mobile and responsive web, with deep understanding of platform conventions and technical constraints. You're skilled in discovery, user research, and usability testing, turning ambiguity into clear design directions. You're proficient in Figma (components, variables, prototyping, design systems), with bonus experience in motion and micro-interactions. Fluent English is required; German is a plus. Experience in fintech or regulated/trust-sensitive products is valued.
