Salary: USD 130,000 - 180,000 / annual

AnySignal is developing next-generation RF products and services for space and defense missions. As a Digital Electronics Engineer on the hardware team, you will own the design, manufacture, test, and deployment of highly integrated PCBAs for space customers. You will work with a small team of software, RF hardware, and FPGA engineers to shepherd products from initial design through vehicle integration, taking a full-stack approach to building robust space communication systems. Key responsibilities include: - Design high-speed digital hardware including processors, FPGAs, memory, interfaces, and supporting circuitry - Perform trades and analyses of board architecture and component selection - Execute schematic capture and layout of space-grade PCBs - Conduct bring-up and testing of new designs - Partner with RF engineers, software, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing, and production test teams to drive designs end-to-end - Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure proper thermal dissipation - Work with supply chain teams to enable rapid manufacture and iteration - Design for performance under space-grade acceptance, qualification, and compliance requirements Required qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or related STEM field - 3+ years of professional experience designing high-speed digital circuitry - Proven experience with EDA tools such as Altium Designer - Experience designing and debugging Xilinx RFSoC/MPSoC-based systems or equivalent - Experience debugging SoCs across the bootup stack (baremetal/bootloader/linux) - Experience in modeling, simulation, and testing of digital and power electronics - Familiarity with failure mode effects and criticality analysis (FMEA) Preferred experience includes mixed-signal circuit board design from concept through production, memory configuration and interfacing, power tree design with complex sequencing, and component selection for radiation environments.
