As a Software Developer at Botpress, you will be at the core of developing innovative solutions that shape the future of conversational AI. Working within the engineering team, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable applications that enhance the capabilities of the AI agent platform. You'll apply your technical expertise to complex problems while maintaining the highest standards of code quality and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-impact features for customers
- Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to define and implement new features
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure best practices and continuous improvement
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues
- Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team

REQUIREMENTS:
- Confirmed experience as a software developer or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and frameworks like React
- Solid understanding of software development principles, patterns, and methodologies
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate effectively with team and stakeholders
