Cortica, a rapidly growing healthcare company specializing in neurodevelopmental treatment for children, is seeking a Developmental Therapies Site Supervisor to lead a multi-disciplinary clinical team at their Torrance location. This is a hybrid clinical leadership and hands-on practitioner role.
You will directly supervise a team of Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Music Therapists, overseeing daily site operations and clinical delivery. Key responsibilities include:
• Direct supervision of the developmental therapies (DT) team, managing performance, scheduling, hiring, and professional development
• Maintaining on-site leadership presence during majority of clinic operating hours
• Addressing real-time operational issues: space optimization, equipment procurement, room assignments, cancellation management, and staffing needs
• Collaborating with site leadership (ABA manager, Medical Director, Area Operations Manager) to ensure excellent experiences for team members, families, and patients
• Conducting clinical work (evaluations, treatments, comprehensive clinical integration meetings) with reduced billable expectations based on supervisory load
• Managing team productivity, scheduling, documentation efficiency, capacity utilization, and wait list management
• Leading, mentoring, and developing team members to ensure consistency with Cortica's care model
• Conducting annual performance reviews and merit recommendations
• Serving as hiring manager for DT candidates, including interviewing, onboarding, and training
• Participating in clinical rounds, leadership meetings, and performance management meetings
• Ensuring compliance with AMA, ASHA, OTA, APTA, AMTA, BACB, and HIPAA regulations
• Representing Cortica's DT program professionally with families and colleagues
The role requires standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
