ThirdLove is seeking a Product Designer to lead innovation and development in intimate apparel design. Founded in 2013, ThirdLove disrupted the bra industry by prioritizing real-world fit over outdated standards, inventing half-cup sizes and the Fitting Room® quiz.
In this role, you will own the full product design and development lifecycle—from concept sketching through prototype iteration to production handoff. You'll partner closely with technical design, sourcing, and production teams to translate innovative ideas into breakthrough fit, construction, and material solutions that solve real customer challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
**Product Design & Innovation**: Research and pioneer intimate apparel collections, translating initial sketches into precise technical flats, design sheets, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) maintained in the PLM system. Own high-impact innovation styles that drive brand differentiation.
**Fit & Product Development Execution**: Guide garments from initial prototype to production-approved sample, ensuring intended fit, construction, and material execution. Maintain clear communication with vendors and factory partners to troubleshoot issues and meet delivery timelines.
**Seasonal Concepting**: Create end-to-end seasonal concepts and color direction through market analysis, mood boards, color palettes, and strategic product assortments. Own color charts, print development, and final color approvals in partnership with Merchandising.
**Cross-Functional Alignment**: Present seasonal themes and innovative product concepts to stakeholders through elevated design assets. Lead final product handoff to Creative and Marketing teams, ensuring alignment on design features, innovation highlights, materials, and color accuracy.
ThirdLove's culture is inclusive, collaborative, fast-paced, and data-driven. The company handles everything from R&D to supply chain in-house, giving you direct impact on product excellence and brand reputation.
