Amca is building America's new industrial base by rapidly developing and manufacturing critical components and subsystems for aviation and military platforms. The company operates seven factories nationwide and delivers avionics, hydraulic, and electrical components for aircraft like the F-35, F-16, F/A-18, 737MAX, 787, and A320neo, as well as military vehicles and infrastructure.
As a Designer, you will bring Amca's aesthetic vision to life across multiple mediums using a new brand system. Working closely with the Senior Designer and VP of Strategy and Business, you'll own a diverse range of creative projects including:
- Conceptualizing and designing maximalist posters that capture the Amca ethos for display across offices and factories
- Designing poster-like slide decks for customers with high personalization
- Creating branded merchandise that reflects the distinct cultures of Amca's flagship brands
- Developing custom marketing collateral including physical brochures, objects, and packing materials
You should be an excellent graphic designer proficient in Adobe Suite and Figma, comfortable with campaign conceptualization beyond just visual design. You believe design shapes total experience, not just assets. You're comfortable with time pressure across multiple projects, making thoughtful trade-offs to meet deadlines, and operationalizing ideas by sourcing suppliers and external partners when needed.
Bonus skills include the ability to spin up webpages independently (through coding or AI tools), proficiency in 3D software like Blender or Cinema4D, and illustration capabilities.
The role is in-person at Amca's new, architecturally designed office and factory in El Segundo, located in the heart of Southern California's aviation industry. This position requires ITAR compliance and U.S. person status.
