Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced AI and autonomy, is seeking a Deputy Director to lead and scale the Connected Warfare Division across Europe. Reporting directly to the Head of International Connected Warfare, you will serve as the core operational partner driving day-to-day programmatics, tactical program execution, and regional capability delivery across the European continent.
This is a highly active, hands-on leadership role requiring "tactical energy" and a builder's mindset. Rather than managing from a corporate desk, you will actively unblock bottlenecks, coordinate cross-functional teams, and execute on-contract growth. You will translate Anduril's next-generation software-defined command and control architecture (Lattice OS) into deployable realities for European defense partners.
Key responsibilities include: overseeing day-to-day delivery of the European portfolio and resolving supply, technical, and schedule bottlenecks; driving on-contract growth and leading bid/proposal efforts by translating complex technical capabilities into clear, mission-aligned proposals for military users; owning divisional cost planning, resource management, and budgeting at the operational level to optimize margins and align staffing; fostering a fast-paced, accountable environment by bridging internal engineering teams and senior military stakeholders; and utilizing Salesforce to forecast order bookings, track customer interactions, and ensure pipeline integrity.
Required qualifications: 8+ years of operational program management, systems engineering, or technical delivery experience in defense-tech, aerospace, or advanced technology sectors; proven track record driving execution of complex hardware-software integration or multi-domain command and control projects; demonstrated experience managing operational budgets, cost planning, and P&L metrics; exceptional tactical energy with a builder's mindset and willingness to handle day-to-day project details; deep familiarity with European defense procurement, Ministry of Defense structures, and allied operational requirements; EU country passport holder eligible for NATO Secret security clearance; willingness to travel extensively across Europe (up to 75%).
Preferred qualifications include background in operational military roles (tactical communications, joint fires, C2/C4ISR) or as a defense-tech startup program manager; direct experience transitioning hardware-centric programs toward open-system, software-defined architectures or agile deployment models; and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools in dynamic forecasting and operations.
