Anduril Industries is seeking a Deployment & Training Manager for its Air Defense team. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of defense technology deployments—from planning and installation through new equipment training (NET), sustainment, and continuous improvement. You will manage hundreds of deployment events annually, including site installations, test and evaluation exercises, demonstrations, and training visits, orchestrating cross-functional teams spanning hardware supply, logistics, and engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
**Deployment Planning & Execution:** Lead deployment events with meticulous attention to detail, managing every step from site survey through testing, pack-out, installation, training, and sustainment. Demonstrate extraordinary judgment, grit, and composure in high-pressure situations. Anticipate contingencies, build lightweight processes, assess and mitigate risk, and continuously improve based on experience.
**New Equipment Training (NET) Delivery:** Own the NET mission for your deployments. Resource, develop, and deliver initial fielding training that brings customers from zero to operational proficiency on Anduril's Air Defense Family of Systems. Build programs of instruction, training schedules, and hands-on individual and collective events tailored to each customer's mission and skill baseline.
**Sustainment Training & Readiness:** Build and run recurring sustainment training that maintains proficiency as personnel rotate, threats evolve, and product capabilities advance. Establish training gates, proficiency standards, and refresh cycles; plan and resource realistic sustainment events; measure success by enduring operational readiness.
**Relationship Management:** Build trust with customers, industry partners, users, and Anduril teammates through effective communication, positive attitude, and follow-through. Internalize counterparts' priorities and requirements; develop relationships across the organization; communicate honestly and directly.
**Mission Expertise:** Develop deep knowledge of customer mission requirements, including threat nature, regulatory challenges, resource constraints, and rules of engagement. Become a subject matter expert and voice of the customer, communicating requirements and CONOPS to engineers. Serve as counter unmanned systems (cUAS) subject matter expert, helping customers resource realistic training and manage hardware/software configurations.
**Product Expertise:** Develop thorough understanding of Anduril's Family of Systems capabilities and limitations. Become an opinionated power user who can reliably forecast performance against a broad range of threat profiles, environmental conditions, and mission constraints.
You will represent Anduril to customers, building their confidence and trust through professionalism and commitment to excellence. You will also represent customers back to Anduril, communicating user feedback and lessons learned to continuously improve products and team response to evolving mission needs. You set the standard for what good looks like for your deployment and rally Anduril teammates to meet that standard daily.
