Hippocratic AI is seeking a Deployment Strategist to serve as the technical architect and implementer for AI agent deployments in healthcare settings. This role bridges customer needs and technical execution, requiring you to design agent workflows, manage build processes, handle integrations, and ensure deployments deliver measurable clinical value.
You will own the full deployment lifecycle: initial scoping and requirement analysis with customers to understand clinical workflows and define agent scope; agent build and configuration using established tools and patterns to configure AI agents quickly; technical account management as the lead during deployment, managing scope decisions and explaining technical constraints; project management including timeline development, coordination with engineering, progress tracking, and early escalation of blockers; integration architecture to define data requirements and partner with engineering on implementation; and post-launch analytics and optimization to monitor agent performance and drive continuous improvements.
Success means your scoping process accurately translates customer workflows into well-structured agent designs that deliver measurable results, you use established tools to configure agents efficiently, you define integration requirements clearly and ensure reliable data flow, you serve as a trusted technical and operational advisor explaining trade-offs and proposing solutions, you monitor performance and identify optimization opportunities, you document patterns and build institutional knowledge, and you lead use case implementations end-to-end with successful timely go-lives.
You bring 5+ years of technical experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, systems design, or technical consulting. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, translating ambiguous customer needs into clear technical requirements. You demonstrate customer empathy and communication ability, explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences and listening deeply to understand underlying needs. You have project management capability: scoping work, estimating timelines, managing dependencies, and communicating status proactively.
Nice-to-have qualifications include healthcare domain expertise (clinical workflows, EHR systems, FHIR standards), experience with AI/ML orchestration, prompt engineering, or LLM-powered applications, healthcare IT experience (EHR integrations, healthcare data pipelines, clinical informatics), and experience building tools for complex regulated environments.
This is a forward-deployed, onsite role based in the North Seattle area with five days per week at the client site and occasional travel to Hippocratic AI headquarters in Menlo Park, CA for strategic planning and team sessions.
