Steelhead Technologies is building a cloud-based ERP platform purpose-built for job shops—powder coaters, platers, anodizers, heat treaters, and fabricators. The platform provides real-time operational visibility, eliminates paper-based inefficiencies, and brings AI to the shop floor through automated order entry and intelligent reporting.
As a Deployment Specialist, you will serve as the bridge between Steelhead's technology and customer success. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive adoption and value realization. Your core responsibilities include:
- Support the Customer Success organization across deployment, customer support, and customer outcomes, with a focus on configuration and training (both internal and external).
- Assist and train customers during their deployment of the Steelhead software platform.
- Travel to customer locations across the United States to support the Customer Success team (30-50% travel expected).
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, text, and email, providing critical knowledge and technical support.
- Build and maintain relationships with customer contacts to create advocates for Steelhead.
- Generate trust and credibility at multiple organizational levels within existing accounts.
- Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities in deployment processes, tools, cross-functional collaboration, and customer training.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Curiosity and customer-obsessed mindset
- Willingness and ability to travel 30-50% within the US
- US work authorization required
- Experience in manufacturing or software industry is a plus but not required
