Base Power is rebuilding America's electrical grid through distributed battery networks. The Deployment Operations Associate supports the day-to-day execution of utility partnerships, moving projects from signed deal through Permission to Operate (PTO).
Key responsibilities include: executing daily pipeline tasks across utility partner queues and monitoring project statuses; maintaining accurate project records in CRM systems, updating deal stages and ensuring data completeness; supporting utility interconnection processes by preparing submissions, tracking approvals, and coordinating PTO progression; coordinating installation and commissioning handoffs between Base teams and utility partners to maintain schedules; communicating with utility representatives to request information, follow up on outstanding items, and resolve project-level issues; tracking partner requirements, documentation, and approvals across active deployments; identifying stuck or non-standard projects and escalating appropriately; supporting recurring pipeline reporting with clean data compilation; and identifying process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Ideal candidates bring 1+ years of operations, project coordination, or customer operations experience in high-volume execution environments. Required skills include strong organizational and time management abilities, meticulous attention to detail, excellent written communication for external stakeholder engagement, and CRM proficiency (HubSpot a plus). Experience in energy, utilities, construction, or operationally complex fields is valued. The role requires managing competing priorities, coordinating across multiple teams, and recognizing when escalation is needed. Base operates in-person with startup dynamics where priorities shift quickly and roles may expand based on business needs.
