Gecko Robotics is seeking a Deployment Lead to drive mission-critical deployments for U.S. Navy manufacturing customers. This role bridges customer needs with Gecko's wall-climbing robotics and AI-powered data platform, focusing on automating manufacturing workflows in foundries, forges, and defense manufacturing facilities.
You will own end-to-end customer deployments, from problem definition through delivery and value realization. You'll serve as the primary stakeholder contact, building trust across technical, operational, and executive levels while translating Gecko's platform capabilities into strategic business outcomes for defense manufacturing customers.
Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams (Product Strategists, Product Designers, Forward Deployed Engineers) to define, build, and deploy solutions; managing complex, multi-stakeholder environments; navigating ambiguity and maintaining momentum; and using data to validate solutions and support strategic recommendations. You'll travel up to 50% to support deployments, engage stakeholders, and remove execution blockers.
Required qualifications: 7+ years in program delivery, consulting, product, or operations in complex environments; experience in heavy industry manufacturing or DoD/maritime ecosystems; proven ability to manage large cross-functional efforts; strong problem-solving and communication skills across technical and executive audiences; ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced settings.
Preferred experience includes Navy manufacturing or major defense primes, foundry/forge environments, digitally-native manufacturing, software/data platform deployment in production, and knowledge of structural inspection, corrosion, or lifecycle modeling.
This role requires U.S. person status (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to access to export-controlled technical data and government information systems.
