Anduril Industries is seeking a Deployment Lead for its Air Defense team to own the development, delivery, and sustainment of maritime air defense capabilities. This role sits within the Mission Operations team and serves as the system leader and product subject matter expert for maritime air defense systems.
Key responsibilities include:
**Product Qualification**: Lead customer-sponsored acceptance testing and developmental system testing. Analyze test objectives, manage team resources and priorities, and ensure successful outcomes in operational evaluations.
**Product Delivery**: Scale novel capabilities from governmental qualification into operational warfighter hands. Manage demand forecasting, coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain for material readiness, and embed with account teams to ensure timely product delivery.
**Product Sustainment**: Author and implement processes for lifecycle sustainment of delivered products, including customer outreach, reactive and proactive servicing, product versioning, and return material authorization (RMA).
**Relationship Management**: Build trust across Anduril teams, vendors, partners, customers, and end users through effective communication and follow-through. Brief senior leaders on emerging capabilities and represent Anduril externally. Navigate the lean, agile, engineering-first organization to operate effectively across functional boundaries.
**Mission Expertise**: Develop deep understanding of maritime air defense mission requirements, including threat nature, operational constraints, rules of engagement, and end-user experience. Proactively communicate mission understanding to engineering teams to enhance product development. Frame technical and business trade-offs for decision makers.
The role requires rigorous operational execution, detail orientation, proactive communication, and hard-won product expertise. You will own material projects with significant impact on program trajectory in a fast-growing company at early growth stages.
