Meter is building the next generation of internet infrastructure, treating connectivity as a modern utility. The company designs and deploys enterprise wireless networks at scale for customers including Bridgewater, Lyft, and Reddit.
As a Deployment Engineer, Network, you will be the technical lead responsible for translating customer requirements into fully designed wireless networks using Meter's proprietary in-house tooling. You will own the end-to-end technical execution from design through deployment, network turn-up, and validation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing performant and resilient wireless networks using Meter's toolkit, balancing RF design, customer environments, security requirements, and device diversity
- Leading all critical technical decisions during design and deployment phases through network go-live and validation
- Troubleshooting and supporting critical devices and network functionality during network turn-up to ensure seamless customer experience
- Visiting complex customer sites as needed to support on-site installation and validation, ensuring successful deployment
- Providing real-time wireless escalation support for RF issues, power settings, SSID configuration, and AP placement during live installs (SLA-bound, reactive work)
- Collaborating with Deployment Project Managers, Sales Engineers, and Product Engineering to design next-generation deployment and networking products
- Managing multiple wireless designs simultaneously while maintaining disciplined documentation and clear communication
