Salary: USD 87,500 - 96,500 / annual

As a Business Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for prospects, responsible for identifying and qualifying plant managers, maintenance supervisors, and operations leads at industrial companies across North America. You will execute high-volume outbound prospecting to build pipeline for Account Executives.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute 70–100 outbound calls daily to maintenance and operations decision-makers at industrial companies
- Build multi-touch sequences via phone, email, and LinkedIn that address real operational problems
- Quickly qualify prospects and book qualified meetings for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce and proactively follow up on all open opportunities
- Partner with Account Executives to refine targeting and messaging based on conversion data
Success metrics: At 6 months, consistent SQL attainment above 90% and a repeatable outbound motion. At 12 months, top performers transition to closing roles (Account Executive or Account Manager).
The role is in-office in Denver, five days per week. MaintainX invests in new hire development through New Hire University, dedicated mentorship, and structured sales training. Most current Account Executives and Account Managers were promoted from BDR roles, typically within 1–1.5 years.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in high-volume, rejection-heavy environments (sales, recruiting, hospitality, retail, or similar) demonstrating resilience and ability to build trust quickly
- Genuine drive to make outbound calls; high call volume is core to the role
- Clear, polished written and verbal communication in English
- Demonstrated follow-through and self-directed pipeline management
- Bachelor's degree
- Nice to have: Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, or Nooks experience; prior B2B or SaaS sales background
