Rubrik is seeking a Cyber Resilience Architect (Field CTO) to drive technical strategy and business leadership across the APJ region. This is a senior sales engineering and technical consulting role focused on transforming how large enterprises approach data protection, cyber recovery, identity resilience, and AI-driven security.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CISOs, and board-level executives, helping them modernize their data protection strategies and align cyber resilience as a board-level priority. Your responsibilities include leading high-impact technical discoveries with Tier-1 accounts, architecting innovative solutions across on-premises, cloud, SaaS, and multi-cloud environments, and qualifying opportunities using the MEDDIC framework to accelerate regional revenue outcomes.
Key responsibilities include executive advisory services positioning data resilience and operational continuity; revenue acceleration through technical leadership on complex enterprise deals; deal orchestration and competitive positioning; product liaison work distilling field requirements into actionable product insights; technical solution design with focus on cyber security, isolated recovery environments, and clean room recovery; and selective market evangelism at industry events and executive forums.
You will design integrated solutions across diverse technology stacks, with deep expertise in data protection, disaster recovery, zero-trust architecture, and cyber recovery. You'll partner with regional sales leadership to hit revenue targets and ensure the APJ market voice influences Rubrik's global product roadmap.
The role requires 18+ years of sales engineering or technical consulting experience, consistent success closing 7-figure enterprise deals in APJ, strong executive presence engaging C-suite stakeholders, deep technical knowledge of data protection and cybersecurity, commercial acumen connecting technical strategy to business impact, and entrepreneurial drive in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
