Mixpanel is a leading product intelligence and analytics platform trusted by over 29,000 companies. The Customer Value Architect (CVA) role sits within the Revenue organization and bridges the gap between what customers purchase and the value they realize from Mixpanel.
You will own customer adoption, value realization, and account health across a portfolio of existing Mixpanel customers, from onboarding through renewal readiness. Working alongside Account Executives (growth/expansion), Renewal Managers (commercial renewal), and Delivery Engineers (technical implementation), you will operate in a clear lane focused on value and adoption without owning pricing or commercial negotiation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning onboarding outcomes and time-to-value; partnering with Delivery Engineers on technical builds and driving customers to first realized value
- Creating and maintaining success plans that map business objectives to specific use cases with measurable baselines
- Leading customer enablement and training (dashboard design, funnel analysis, retention modeling) to deepen and broaden Mixpanel usage
- Building and maintaining a network of champions and evangelists across accounts
- Monitoring product usage and account health signals; running regular business reviews to surface adoption gaps early
- Quantifying delivered value against baseline and leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and value reviews
- Owning day-to-day relationships with customers' technical stakeholders; maintaining fluency in data models and product metrics
- Guiding customer adoption of Mixpanel's AI capabilities (Mixpanel AI, Mixpanel Agent); escalating advanced requests to Delivery Engineers
- Detecting churn and health risks early, root-causing issues, and owning value-linked saves
- Routing technical requests and feasibility questions to appropriate team members
- Identifying use-case gaps and sourcing expansion signals to Account Executives with supporting evidence
- Contributing to team playbooks and best practices
This is not a technical build role, but genuine comfort with data is essential. You will need to read dashboards, reason about event taxonomies, and hold credible conversations with technical teams without implementing solutions yourself.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in Customer Success, account management, or consulting supporting B2B SaaS accounts (product analytics, CDP, or martech backgrounds preferred)
- Genuine comfort working directly with data: can read dashboards, reason about event taxonomies, and engage credibly with technical teams
- Track record managing relationships across stakeholders from practitioners to executives
- Experience building and running structured adoption or success plans tied to measurable outcomes
- Hands-on experience with AI or agentic tooling beyond casual use (MCP-based workflows, LLM copilots, or similar)
- Good judgment prioritizing across account portfolios by risk, tier, and opportunity
Bonus qualifications:
- Background in product analytics, growth, or data-driven product development
- Technical advisory or professional-services experience
- Familiarity with analytics instrumentation, event tracking, or data tooling
