Salary: EUR 52,000 - 65,000 / annual

Mendix (Siemens) is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to join its rapidly growing support team in Rotterdam. In this role, you will take ownership of platform and product issues, working independently with customers to resolve platform and application development/deployment challenges. You will investigate, reproduce, and solve reported issues by identifying suitable solutions and root causes within the platform infrastructure and software. Key responsibilities include: - Taking ownership of platform and product issues and working independently with customers to resolve them - Investigating, reproducing, and solving reported issues while identifying root causes within platform infrastructure and software - Managing stakeholder communications by clearly conveying reported issues to R&D, Product Management, and Technical Account Managers to ensure effective cross-functional coordination - Working with minimal direction and making independent decisions with discretion - Managing time effectively by prioritizing daily tasks based on problem severity and business impact - Setting and maintaining customer expectations through adherence to Service Level Agreements and incident prioritization The team culture emphasizes multi-tasking, staying current with latest features and technologies, and thriving on problem-solving. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with passion for technology - Well-organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks - Understanding of and curiosity about programming languages, integration, relational databases, and/or cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) - Experience in a customer-facing technical support or consultancy role, or other relevant work experience (preferred)
