Teamworks is seeking a Customer Success Manager I to support relationships with professional sports customers. You will partner with a senior CSM to manage a portfolio of professional sports teams using Teamworks' suite of products (Hub, Performance, Coaching, Operations, Intelligence). This role offers growing ownership over time as you develop expertise in the sports tech space. Key responsibilities include supporting the full customer lifecycle—product training, ongoing value delivery, account expansion, and renewal conversations. You'll collaborate directly with professional sports staff to ensure they achieve their goals, build key relationships across teams, and identify cross-sell and expansion opportunities alongside the sales team. The role involves analyzing customer data to inform account strategies and increase engagement. You'll also join on-site visits during key seasonal windows (training camp, pre-season, in-season check-ins) and develop working knowledge of product functionality to communicate technical capabilities to non-technical staff. Required qualifications: 1–3 years of experience working in a professional sports organization; hands-on experience using Teamworks products as an end-user or admin in a pro team setting; demonstrated ability to build trust quickly with multiple staff members; strong written and verbal communication skills, especially translating technical workflows into accessible language; and willingness to travel for on-site visits based on league seasonality. Preferred qualifications include relationships or credibility within pro organizations (management, performance directors, operations staff); experience in account management, customer success, or SaaS; knowledge of value delivery and client retention best practices; strong initiative and self-direction; ability to thrive on varied initiatives at a fast pace; and people-oriented, collaborative approach. This is an opportunity to shape the future of sports while working with a high-achievement culture. You'll work alongside senior CSMs on important pro partners with a clear path toward independently owning your own book of business as you build credibility in the sports industry.
