Root Global is Europe's leading primary data collection platform for food & beverage companies, helping enterprises measure and reduce farm-level emissions. With over €10M in funding and major F&B players as customers, Root is tackling Scope 3.1 emissions—the largest and most complex source of food-industry carbon footprint. As Customer Success Manager, you will own a defined customer portfolio and serve as the primary trusted advisor, guiding customers through key success milestones: onboarding, data collection, verification, reporting, and reduction readiness. You'll ensure customers realize the full value of the Root Platform and understand their progress toward climate goals. Key responsibilities include: - End-to-end customer project management, driving primary data coverage at scale through increased user engagement and data quality - Serving as the first point of contact for agricultural users, ensuring high data quality, clear milestones, and on-time delivery - Designing and running farmer-facing enablement programs, including digital webinars to drive participation and build trust at the farm level - Collaborating with Account Management to relay customer feedback and build long-term satisfaction, retention, and advocacy - Partnering with Product to translate practical farming knowledge and farmer needs into actionable product feedback You bring agricultural background (farm experience, agricultural studies, or prior work with agricultural users), hands-on detail orientation, and first experience in Customer Success or Operations. You're people-centric, proactive, empathetic, and comfortable working with data in Excel and digital platforms. Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages (Polish, French, Portuguese, Spanish) are valued. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Berlin (5 days/week).
