Hummingbird is hiring a Customer Success Manager to build and maintain strategic relationships with enterprise financial institution and fintech customers. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of customer needs and internal product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
In this role, you will develop strong, genuine partnerships with Hummingbird's customers, particularly at management and senior levels. You'll build and execute strategic account plans that drive client satisfaction, retention, and expansion, maximizing lifetime value. Rather than being a reactive support contact, you'll act as a trusted advisor—coaching customers on compliance best practices, helping them understand how AI is transforming their workflows, and translating industry shifts into practical, measurable ROI.
You'll collaborate across the organization in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, working with product, engineering, sales, and other teams to solve customer problems with creativity, empathy, and pragmatism. The role requires resourcefulness and proactivity; you'll identify gaps in processes and build playbooks that scale across the team.
Hummingbird is a remote-first, fully distributed company founded in 2017. The company has helped major financial institutions and fintech leaders (Plaid, Raymond James, Crypto.com, etc.) orchestrate their compliance programs through AI-powered, thoughtfully designed tools. The company is Series B funded and customer-obsessed, with a culture that values diverse opinions, high standards, and mutual support.
Ideal candidates have prior Customer Success Manager experience at a SaaS company managing enterprise accounts, ideally with financial services or fintech background. You're analytical, skilled at discovery conversations with stakeholders at all levels, and comfortable turning insights into action. You're curious, stay current with product and industry evolution, and invest in your own growth as a CS professional. Above all, you show up for your teammates and care deeply about culture.
