Salary: USD 100,000 - 140,000 / annual
BlueCargo is a fast-growing logistics technology startup founded by Y Combinator 2018 alumni that has raised Series A funding. The company revolutionizes freight audit and container tracking by aggregating data from multiple sources into a single platform for cost management and cargo visibility.
As a Customer Success Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for assigned customers, responsible for their complete journey from onboarding through implementation, adoption, expansion, and retention. You will manage renewals, identify expansion opportunities, and drive customer value realization. The role requires on-site presence 3x per week with customers in the Atlanta area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships across customer organizations at all levels
- Conducting user trainings, scheduled check-ins, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
- Monitoring platform adoption and customer satisfaction metrics
- Identifying expansion opportunities and collaborating with sales on account growth
- Tracking usage performance and KPIs to maximize customer ROI
- Acting as a trusted advisor, understanding customer goals and challenges
- Advocating internally for customer feedback to shape product roadmap
- Becoming a product expert to solve workflow and process gaps
You will work cross-functionally with product, data science, engineering, sales, and operations teams. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced startup environments and brings a customer-centric, commercially driven mindset.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- 6+ years in customer-facing roles (Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, Client Services) in logistics, transportation, or tech
- Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence outcomes clearly
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with proactive bias
- Ability to navigate difficult conversations and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes
- Strong organizational and time management skills managing multiple customers of varying sizes
- Familiarity with CRM software and data analytics tools
- Proficiency in data analysis and presentation using Google Slides and Sheets
BONUS:
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of international logistics and industry pain points
- Prior relationship management with BCOs, importers, freight forwarders, NVOCCs, brokers, 3PLs, drayage carriers, or port terminals
- Experience at intersection of logistics and technology or in both environments
