Centralize is a relationship intelligence platform for enterprise revenue teams, replacing traditional CRMs with a modern system built for managing complex B2B sales relationships. The company has raised $18M+ in Series A funding led by NEA, with backing from Salesforce Ventures, Y Combinator, and operators from Slack, Figma, Box, and Dropbox. Customers include Webflow, Elevenlabs, Brex, Cognition, and LangChain.
As the first Customer Solutions Engineer, you will be the technical bridge between Centralize and its largest, most strategic customers. This is a hands-on role sitting on the GTM team where you'll spend roughly half your time in direct customer conversations and the other half shipping code to solve their problems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner directly with strategic customers to scope, build, and ship integrations, CRM migrations, and custom configurations needed to go live on Centralize
- Investigate technical issues by reviewing logs and codebase before escalating to core engineering with useful context
- Respond to technical questions, security concerns, RFI/RFP responses, and implementation feasibility discussions
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and liaison throughout the sales cycle from early engagement through contract negotiation
- Design and propose scalable technical solutions aligned with customer needs and product capabilities
- Translate complex requirements into architecture diagrams, implementation roadmaps, and proposal documentation
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to validate feasibility, share customer feedback, and influence roadmap priorities
- Partner with Go-to-Market teams on deal strategy and technical strategy early in the sales process
- Work closely with Technical Delivery and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth pre-sale to implementation transitions
- Ship quickly and iterate based on customer feedback
- Develop playbooks and internal documentation to accelerate future implementations
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in technical support, customer engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role at a fast-growing SaaS or tech company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts (CRM migrations, custom configurations) to non-technical stakeholders and handle difficult conversations with professionalism
- Solid engineering fundamentals: ability to read a codebase, ship features, and debug real problems
- Ability to translate customer problems into practical, working solutions
- High agency and ownership mentality; comfortable managing multiple open issues across channels and driving them to resolution independently
